Politics of Sex!

Actually, when that women's march took place in June of this year, and the conflict they had with the current President Donald Trump, I was totally lost on the subject. I did not know what was going on or what Trump had said and done against them. What's more, I did not even know that feminist groups or movements existed against this or fighting for equal rights and opportunities that women should have. After that, I read and searched for some information from some communicative media and informed me of what Trump had done, and I could see that the "Global Gag Rule" reagent could understand that women felt threatened and for this reason, they went to Streets to fight and defend the right of women.

In the reading "Abortion to Reproductive Rights," I read as before women could lose the ability to have or procreate children through involuntary sterilization. Feminist groups have begun to fight against the abuse of sterilization and fighting for the reproductive freedom of women. Women were fighting over safe legal abortion and contraception. Feminist women in 1970 wanted to have reproductive freedom instead of abortion rights. Women of color said that legal abortion was not synonymous with reproductive freedom. Feminists considered that reproductive rights of having children were as important to reproductive freedom as the legal right to determine a pregnancy. For poor women and women of color, the right to have a healthy child and to lift it out of poverty was something really important to them. Women of color helped create a political movement and achieved reproductive autonomy. This was based on race or economic basis. The female effort for legal absorption and reproductive rights was 1960, 1970 and 1980. White middle-class women have supported the abortion law campaign as the most important goal in an effort for women's reproductive autonomy. Feminists have seen that the primary problem has been the inequality of power relations between men and women. Feminists were terrified of a pregnancy not wanting or an illegal abortion. Women also saw abortion and freedom of reproduction as something of life and death. Money here has also played a key role as white middle-class women had access to safe abortion. The problem of abuse of sterilization is that poor and color women were sterilized without their consent, thus losing the power to conceive or to be mothers.
Political systems created a population control that has made poor and color women have to abort so as not to generate more poverty by creating a genocide effort. Women of color and black nationalists agreed that fertility control was racist and abusive. They have wanted to control their fertility in a voluntary way. Women's reproductive experiences depended on their races and class position. For example, a health care provider believed that the race or social economy was returning to women in an incompetent manner and he was able to make decisions about the woman's fertility.
As we see, since long ago sex politics have been handled by the government, in a nutshell, the government has decided what to do with the woman's body. This country (United States) has always had a system where Capitalism has reigned, so Trump being an businessman and see how to do "America Great Again" saw that one of the best way was to close the international organizations that certify that they will not practice Nor to promote abortion as a form of family planning so that they cannot receive money from the US government. Even when the programs are related to abortion and when these programs are funded by other entities or governments and that American money goes to maternity care, HIV or abortion-related planning in other countries. I believe that this law or rule is somewhat extremist on the part of Donald Trump, as it is generating foreign organizations involved in abortion in any way: practicing it, offering guidance, advocating for abortion law reform or providing referrals to medical services, even when they do it with non-US funds. Under this policy, organizations will be disqualified and will not be able to receive US funding simply by using their own non-US funds to provide abortion-related services and information that are legal in their country of origin and in the US.

I agree that women should have their sexual exploration responsibly. Also when Steele says "For women, birth control can support us in our desire to understand our sexuality without life-altering consequences". She implies that women can explore their sexuality as long as they do it responsibly.
Now, if we talk about sexuality and who has played in favor, we can say that it is for man. The man has always had the opportunity to consciously explore his sexuality while women do not. It is true that every person has his own right to his body and can decide what is best for him to do or perform. I think women or men have the right to explore their sexuality as they wish, but with responsibility as Tanya says. Also, when Steele mentions that "Sexuality is about connection. Conservative messaging around sexuality includes words like "responsibility." There is no accounting for "risk" in America's conversation about sex. "Risk" is associated with poverty. Poor people engage in "risky" sexual practices because they are "genetically" coded for it. The belief of conservatives is that poor people do not have sense or reason enough to engage in "responsible" sex practice. The reality is, all classes participate in "risky" sexual behavior. The sexual life of the poor is no different than the sexual life of any other class. “I totally agree with her. Today, we see so many young men and boys who explore their sexuality without using responsibility, which we call the responsibility that both the girl and the boy should use condoms to avoid diseases or unwanted pregnancies.
Today, we see girls 12 to 17 years of age, pregnant. That is because they want to explore their sexuality does not do it with the responsibility that is required. Today, there is a lot of sex education, teachers and parents advise you what to use or do when you are going to have sex

I think that when you are going to start having a relationship that is pleasant or a long relationship, there should be communication and talk about issues such as protecting oneself and knowing the risks they can contract, such as diseases or unwanted pregnancies. Since as Tanya says "Sexual risk—sex without a condom, sex with a stranger, sex under the influence—is commonplace. It can be a part of what fuels sexual desire and intrigue. With more education, individuals may be moved to take risks but make more informed choices". For example in the case of men use a condom and in the case of women take a pill or also use a condom and in such a way prevent diseases or unwanted pregnancies. This is a topic that is spoken to the couple and if she agrees not to use a condom and that she is going to take care of the next step is done but another solution is sought where both parties agree. Here it is not about because you are a woman you must take care of me and I do not, as I say it is a subject of two and both must speak it before taking a step and if they reach a good agreement or else look for another way. As I said the key to solving things is communication but without communication I think that everything is lost. Nobody has the right to prevent anything from anyone, I think one of the important factors here has to be education and responsibility. In times past there was not much sex education or methods that avoid contracting diseases or prevent unwanted pregnancies. This agrees when Tanya says "these men see a woman's need for protection, for control over her body, for a desire to experience her sexuality without the risk of pregnancy or disease, as not of interest to them. What interests them is the climax, the end result. For men and boys, in the private spaces of negotiation, their orgasm is the goal. Neither takes into account the needs, financial pressures, health concerns, or any other interests of women. “This is a true man has always been selfish and has always thought of satisfying their needs. Something that is not right. I am against men who think this way and not because of the risk they run from diseases but because of the risk that women suffer when they get an unwanted pregnancy. Today we see teenagers and pregnant girls being father and mother for a child. Seeking to reduce those financial pressures and also reduce the needs of their children. On the one hand, I agree with Trump and on the other hand no. I am against abortion. Since as Tanya said, it is good to explore sexuality but with responsibility, but if you are going to have and you get an unwanted pregnant is not the child's fault but yours, to bed with someone without protection. I believe that abortion should be practiced only if you are raped or if you know that the child comes with an illness, however, many Women have been based on things like that for abortion and I do not think that's right. For these reasons, I agree with Trump.

Lastly, when Hillary was campaigning to be president she said she was in favor of abortion. Since she always agreed with support for "Planned Parenthood" and women's reproductive rights. She refused to ban abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy. I think this was one of the big factors for Trump to win as President because this country has different races and religions that are against abortion, whether or not it is wanted.
